The hope on Macron

His eventual victory would represent a change on the actual mood about the European Union project. The message of driving France towards the innovation and a more pragmatic approach on the current heavy French welfare state, if fully implemented, can represent an U turn for the country.

Many of his critics challenge that he could have implemented the very same measures in the 2 years he were in office as Minister but, is unlikely that the Socialist François Hollande has given to Macron "carte blanche" to implement the necessary changes in the French economy.
